Our Pesach program at Playa Blanca offers a memorable Glatt Kosher LePesach dining experience on Panama’s Pacific coast. Meals are prepared in separate meat and dairy kitchens under strict kosher supervision. Guests can look forward to traditional Seder meals, festive holiday dining, and fresh ingredients inspired by the region.
Alongside the main dining room, the program will feature three specialty restaurants: Fish, Vegetarian/Vegan, and an Italian Coffee House. From familiar Pesach favorites to new flavors, every meal is an opportunity to gather, celebrate, and enjoy the holiday together.
Kashrut:
Shevet Ahim
Kashrut supervision for our Playa Blanca Pesach program is provided under the auspices of Shevet Ahim in Panama, with Rabbi David Eshkenazi serving as Rabbinic Coordinator. Our team is committed to maintaining Glatt Kosher LePesach standards throughout the holiday.
The program follows Gebrochts and Cholov Yisrael standards, with no kitniyot. All wines are Mevushal, and Shmurah Matzah is available. From the Seder meals to everyday dining, Kashrut is an essential part of the care we bring to the Pesach experience.
Scholar In Residence: Rabbi Daniel Hadar
Rabbi Daniel Hadar is a dynamic educator, speaker, and community leader known for his ability to blend Torah insight with real-world impact. He serves as the head rabbi of the historic Turkish Synagogue in Miami Beach, a vibrant community featured on Thank You Hashem Media, Netflix, and PBS.
In addition to his rabbinic leadership, Rabbi Hadar is a practicing attorney and serves on several government councils, bringing a unique perspective to Jewish life and civic engagement. Named by The Forward as one of America’s most inspiring rabbis, his work has also been featured in Bloomberg Magazine, The New York Times, and other prominent publications.
